8th Grade-U.S. History- On Monday, students’ “Rebels” Children’s Books are due. Monday and Tuesday students will be working in their groups to complete Chapter 2 European Exploration) notes using placards to guide their reading and notes. Wednesday and Thursday students will be watching a video about the lost colony of Roanoke. They will be taking notes that will be grade and they will need to study for the unit test. On Friday, we will begin the notes for Chapter 3 (English Colonies).
9th and 11th Grades-Criminal Law- Monday-Wednesday we will be working on the notes for Chapter 2. Students will be learning about the Nature of crime and the theories of crime causation. Thursday and Friday students will be working on an essay descrying whether they think crimes are learned behaviors or something people are born to commit. This essay will be due on Tuesday, August 31st.
