8th Grade-Honors U.S. History
Monday-Wednesday, students will be creating a travel poster and brochure for one of the colonies they learned about in the Chapter 3 notes (please see the U.S. History page for more information about this assignment). This assignment will be due on Friday, Sept 3rd. Thursday-Friday, we will begin learning about life in the colonies through Chapter 4.
Students should be studying their President Flashcards (1-10) to prepare for their first quiz. Students need to know the presidents name, how many terms he served, and the years that he served.
9th and 11th Grades-Criminal Law
**The Biological v. Sociocultural Essays are due Tuesday, August 31st. **
Monday-Tuesday, students will be completing their Chapter 3 vocabulary. Tuesday-Thursday, students will be working in their groups for the first half of the notes about the 9 categories of crime. They will visit placard stations throughout the room and match crimes to their descriptions. For the second half of the notes, students will learn about the major forms of crime. On Friday, students will begin working on their Chapter 5 vocabulary.
