Honors
You need to find an additional 4 sources that you can use to get information from. With this, you should have a total of 10 usable sources for your project. By next week, in your folder, there should be the following:
1. 10 sources put in MLA formatting
2. printed out information from 3 of those sources that you will use for your project
8th Grade-U.S. History
This week, students will be learning about the Declaration of Independence. Monday-Tuesday-we will work on notes from Chapter 6 and rephrasing excerpts from the Declaration. Wednesday-Friday-students will then use the rephrased excerpts to create a Children’s Version of the Declaration of Independence. This will be due on Tuesday, October 5th. There will also be a President’s Quiz (1-10) for those students who did not get a perfect on the last quiz.
9th and 11th Grades-Criminal Law
Monday-students will be using poster stations to learn more about different police agencies and what role each plays. Tuesday-Thursday-students will be learning about Supreme Court cases that have changed the laws that govern us today (Chapter 8). Friday-students will be working on the Chapter 9 vocabulary.
