8th Grade-Honors U.S. History
Tuesday-We Will complete Chapter 4 notes and students will begin working on their Colonial Journal. Wednesday-Thursday-Students will have class time to work on their Colonial Journals (please see the U.S. History page for directions for this projects). This project will be due on Monday, Sept. 13th. Friday-students will take notes while watching the documentary, “The Salem Witch Trials”. They will turn in these notes for a grade.
9th and 11th Grades-Criminal Law
Tuesday-Thursday-We will be working on the notes for Chapter 5: Criminal Due Process and the Criminal Justice Process. Friday-Students will work with their groups to answer the most questions correctly for the Unit I Review. On Wednesday, students will receive a list of things they should study for the test on Monday, September 13th.
September Extra Credit
For this month’s extra credit, students can create a propaganda poster about increasing student/teen rights. To complete this assignment, they must have at least a 70% and complete an extra credit request form. This assignment is worth up to 20 points and is due by Tuesday, September 28th.
