Honors
By Thursday, students need to have completed rewording the information from all of their sources (old assignment) and completed 3 things from their checklist (handed out and gone over prior to break).
U.S. History-8th grade
Monday-Tuesday-Students will be learning about foreign affairs in our nation through Chapter 12. Wednesday-Thursday-Students will be learning about the differences that divided the North and South through Chapter 13. Friday-Students will be creating a travel brochure about wither the North or South (due Wednesday, Dec. 8th).
Criminal Law-9th and 11th grades
Monday-Tuesday and Thursday-Students will be learning about alternatives to regular jail/prison sentencing through Chapter 17. They will work in groups to create posters that will then be used by the other groups to take notes. Wednesday-Students will be participating in a Mock Trial put on by the DU Law School. Friday-Students will have time to finish Chapter 17 notes and begin working on Chapter 18 vocabulary.
