This week, students need to have, in their folder, 10 citations in MLA formatting and information from 6 sources.
8th Grade-U.S. History
Monday-Tuesday-students will be watching the “Revolution” segment of the series America: The Story of Us. Wednesday-Friday-students will be learning about Benedict Arnold, Paul Revere, Benjamin Franklin, and George Washington and the roles they played during the American Revolution. Students will be using these notes for an essay the following week.
9th and 11th Grades-Criminal Law
Monday-students will be completing chapter 9 notes by learning about police violence. Tuesday-Thursday-students will be creating a story using one type of police corruption or violence. This story/essay will be due on Friday. Friday-students will be participating in a unit review in preperation for their test on Monday (students will receive a “What to Study” sheet on Monday, 10/4).
